Thank you for making a gift to the Dr. Karen Stephens PTA Scholarship! You are helping to make dreams come true for many of our students. This gift supports students who are studying to become a Physical Therapy Assistant - one of the fastest growing healthcare careers. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment for physical therapist assistants is projected to grow by 35%, which is much faster than many other occupations. This means that around 33,200 new PTA jobs will be created from 2020-2030. Additionally, U.S. News and World Report ranked PTA #1 in Best Healthcare Support Jobs and #13 in its list of the 100 Best Jobs.
