About Grant-in-Aid

The SUNY Orange Foundation provides Grant-in-Aid to eligible students with a demonstrated financial need who are unable to receive Federal or State financial aid. Assistance may help cover essential educational expenses, including tuition, books, and child care costs.

Awards are based on individual circumstances and may not exceed $1,000 per academic year.

Who Can Apply?

Grant-in-Aid is available to returning full-time and part-time students who:

  • Have applied for Federal and/or State financial aid;

  • Have been determined ineligible based on Federal and/or State criteria;

  • Demonstrate a financial need; and

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0

What Happens After I Apply?

Applicants will be notified of the award decision by email. If you receive a Grant-in-Aid award, the SUNY Orange Foundation will contact you by email to request any additional information needed.
