SUNY Orange Alumni are a network of thousands of graduates who are connected to one another through their educational experiences, achievements, and endeavors. Our alumni play an important role in the College’s success even after they have left our Middletown, Newburgh, and Port Jervis campuses. It is our hope that our alumni will know their experiences, their support, and their resources at SUNY Orange do not end upon graduation.
Our goal is to provide a variety of meaningful opportunities to keep our alumni connected to SUNY Orange faculty and staff, current students, and alumni. We have several ways you can get involved, stay engaged, and connect.
Whether you live nearby, or far away, the SUNY Orange Foundation encourages all our alumni to keep in touch. To do that, we need to keep accurate, up-to-date contact information. Update your contact information by clicking on the following link (Alumni Contact Form) and you will be added to our distribution list. Your Alumni & Friends E-Newsletter is emailed bi-monthly and includes, invitations to events and reunions, information on what other alumni are up to, advances and achievements with college departments and among students, and current events on campus. Connect with us on social media as well.
Join a Committee
The Alumni Committee is open to a group of active and enthusiastic alumni who will collaborate to establish opportunities for alumni involvement in an effort to foster and promote relationships between other alumni and the College.
The Annual Events Committee is open to a group of alumni who will assist with the planning, coordination, and facilitating of annual events to include fundraisers, award ceremonies, reunions, and networking events.
Volunteer/Mentor/Speak at events
The College allows several opportunities for alumni to engage and offer guidance to current students. We believe your SUNY Orange experiences and assistance can better prepare our students in both their continuing education and employment goals. If you are interested in coming back to campus to speak at an event, please contact us.
The Foundation focuses on helping SUNY Orange remain affordable and accessible to all students through its extensive scholarship program. Alumni can get involved by making a contribution to the annual fund, funding a scholarship, incorporating SUNY Orange Foundation in their will or other planned giving instrument, or creating an endowment that will provide a legacy at SUNY Orange in your honor or in honor of a loved one in perpetuity. For more information about giving back to SUNY Orange, please click here (Make a Gift).
Alumni also have access to resources provided by the SUNY Orange Office of Career & Internship Services. The office is staffed by professionals who can assist you with all phases of the career development process including: career workshops, job fairs, on-campus recruitment, resume and cover letter feedback, and access to the career portal – online job bank.
If you have any suggestions or ideas or would like to share your SUNY Orange experience, please contact Jennifer D’Andrea, Director of Alumni Relations & Community Engagement via email at Jenniferdandrea@sunyorange.edu or by phone at 845-341-4179. We look forward to connecting with you!
